Established in 2016, Chieftains Smokehouse is a family owned and operated artisan smokehouse located in the scenic town of Cockatoo nestled in the Dandenong Ranges.
We specialise in hand crafted, naturally wood smoked and cured meats. We use only ethical free range meats including Borrowdale Free Range Pork, Gippsland Grass-fed Beef & Hazeldenes Free Range Chicken.
We chop our redgum by hand to light the fire that cooks our smallgoods within the hand built, walk in smoker.
All our brines and recipes are made from scratch with no additives, packet mixes or flavour enhancers. We use only the highest quality ingredients, we even use the highly prized Celtic Sea Salt in all our brines, hence why our products don't make you thirsty! Taste the difference, you'll be amazed! Although there's no room for dine in, we offer chef prepared lunches every trading day to takeaway!
